How Sherlock works a case

  1. 01

    Reads the whole set

Every sheet, drawings and specs together, even on sets thousands of pages long. Nothing gets skimmed because it's on page 340.

  2. 02

    Knows what he's looking at

Plans, sections, details, schedules and spec sections, sorted by discipline, so each sheet is read for what it is.

  3. 03

    Cross-examines the witnesses

Compares sheets against each other and against the specs, and flags where the architecture, structure, MEP and project manual disagree.

  4. 04

    Checks the law

Reviews against the code your jurisdiction adopted, plus your local amendments, design standards and prototypes when you add them.

  5. 05

    Files the evidence

Every finding cites the sheet, the drawing snippet and the code section, so your team can verify it in seconds. Case closed.

[ The difference ]

A construction specialist, not a chatbot

Under the hood, Sherlock uses multiple frontier models from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google. What makes him a specialist is the review system built around them for drawing sets.

[ Honest limits ]

What Sherlock won't do

  1. 01He doesn't stamp drawingsThe engineer and architect of record make every call. Sherlock is a second reviewer, not a replacement.
  2. 02He can flag a false positiveHe errs on the side of surfacing a possible issue, and shows his evidence so you can dismiss it in seconds.
  3. 03He needs a readable setScanned and native PDFs both work, but blurry scans and missing sheets limit what he can check.

[ Security ]

Your drawings stay yours

Your drawings aren't used to train public or third-party AI models. Documents are encrypted in transit and at rest and hosted on AWS in the United States. SOC 2 Type II is in progress with Vanta.
