InspectMind AI Product Demo – How We Catch Construction Mistakes

See how we catch coordination conflicts, code issues, spec-drawing mismatches, constructability issues (e.g. fastener length), and checks against your internal QA checklists and guidelines.

Traditional Review vs. InspectMind AI

Compare review workflows, then verify AI findings with your project team

Traditional Manual Review

Internal team or outsourced

  • Scheduled reviewer time
Timing depends on scope, staffing, and project complexity
  • Consultant fees or internal labor
Estimate cost using your actual review scope
  • Professional judgment
Reviewers apply experience and project context
  • Agreed review scope
Document which disciplines and requirements are included
RECOMMENDED

1

Upload your drawings

Upload PDFs or connect SharePoint, Box, Procore, ACC.

  • Upload drawings, specs, design manuals, QA checklists, shop drawings, building codes — all as PDFs

  • Selected drawings, specs, and reference files are included in your quote before payment
  • AWS secure infrastructure, data stays confidential

2

AI reviews your selected scope

AI cross-checks included drawings and references. Confirm which files and code checks are selected before you run.

  • Auto-detects IBC, ADA, IECC, and common codes
  • Upload local ordinances, internal QA checklists, or guidelines—we check drawings against those too
  • Save codes to your account library so you don't re-upload every project
  • Constructability: catches issues like insufficient fastener length, unbuildable connections
  • Review coverage and evidence limitations alongside the findings
3

Review prioritized issues

See issues organized by severity with exact sheet references and cost impact.

  • Direct sheet, spec, and code citations
  • Prioritized by cost & schedule impact
  • Filter by discipline and severity
4

Export and share

Export to Excel, PDF, Procore, or ACC. Share with your team.

  • One-click enterprise export
  • Team sharing & assignment built in
  • Integration with your PM tools

How to verify a finding

Treat each AI finding as a review item. Your team's judgment and the underlying documents determine what needs attention.

  1. 1. Open the cited source

In your project, open the drawing, specification, or code reference attached to the finding. Confirm the sheet, revision, and code edition match the review you are assessing.

  2. 2. Check the evidence and limits

Compare the finding with the source in context. Check dimensions, notes, and referenced details. Read the review scope and any evidence limitations; missing information leaves a question to investigate.

  3. 3. Record your decision

Ask the responsible designer or engineer to assess the finding and appropriate action. Record your comments or flag an incorrect finding. A severity label alone does not establish that a defect exists or that a correction is complete.

Try the public example: our sample report includes a finding about missing secondary roof drainage. Read its explanation and suggested next step. On your own project, review the cited roof plans and drainage details with the designer before deciding whether the finding applies.

The public sample is anonymized; verify original sheets in your project's report.
